Finding the right job at the right time is a tough task and no one can deny this fact. It doesn’t matter if someone is a fresher or an experienced person. Job search is a job in itself until you find your next job. It becomes more difficult when you are trying so hard but are not able to get to the next round of the job application.

Today, you’ll learn the best ways to find a job in India in 2020. And even if you are outside India then also you can apply the same principles to find a job.

How to find a Job in India in 2020

Due to the rapid growth of technology, the competition has become really tough as of now. Finding a job has become a challenging task for all job seekers around the globe. Let’s learn the best ways to find a job in 2020.

1. Online JOB search websites

Online job search websites will help a lot in your job search. It doesn’t matter you are freshers or an experienced person, you can find a job for yourself on these platforms. There are so many job platforms in India only who are serving job seekers for so many years.

And so many people are able to find jobs using those platforms. Every country has some online job platforms, try to find online job platforms in your country.

2. Employment Agencies

Nowadays, there are so many employment agencies who are helping job seekers in their job search. Of course, there are fees that they charge for the employment test they took to check your expertise and skills.

Some employment agencies just ask for your resume and some amount and in return, they’ll inform you about the jobs/profiles that are matching your resume/cv. You can try to use their services also.

3. Ask for Referrals

If someone in your family, friends, relatives are working in some companies then you can ask them for their referrals as well. Because, if they refer you from their profile then it makes a different impact on your job application.

That way you’ll have higher chances of getting the job as well. Don’t hesitate while asking for referrals, just ask it and you may never know one opportunity can boost your career.

4. Look for Internships

Internships are the best way to gain some experience and build a network of people who are already senior and have more experience and knowledge than you.

If you are able to get an internship and if you perform beyond expectations than the same company might hire you with a good package. Having said that, you should look for internships first and then for a job.

5. Company Websites

You might be having some dream companies that you want to work in, right? So, you can simply go to their websites and use the jobs/career section to look for the current hiring that they have.

And even if they don’t have one, you try to find their HR email address and send your resume with a cover letter mentioning why you want to work in that company. You might get some consideration in your dream company.

6. JOB Fairs

Offline Job fairs are the best way to connect with so many like-minded people and network with company CEO’s, HR’s, hiring managers, etc. If you find some job fair then just go there and connect with people and build a network.

Also, don’t forget to make multiple copies of your resume with you because you have to attempt some interviews over there too.

7. Social Media Pages

Now is the time of social media so don’t forget to follow the pages of some of your dream companies on social media. Companies are more active on their social media channels to grow their brand awareness and to reach out to as many people as they can.

And this way, you’ll be staying updated with the current hiring for the company as well. You may also connect with some of the people who are already working in those companies.

Conclusion

By following these ways you will fine-tune your job hunting or job search process. And I strongly believe that you’ll land your next job very soon and you’ll able to find a job within a short span of time. All I would say is that reach out to as many people as you can and let them know that you are available for jobs. And you’ll see that you’ll find a job.
